Craig Wedderspoon

His career started in Miami, 1985, where he trained as a glass and crystal carver. Later, the sculptor became the Vice-President of Architectural Art Glass, Inc., moving on to become the owner and president of Cwozmar Creative Glass Design before earning a Bachelor and Master of Fine Art. Eventually, he joined the University of Alabama where he now teaches sculpture and three-dimensional design.

Wedderspoon’s works have been exhibited throughout the country as well as internationally. He’s also completed a number of permanent outdoor commissions for sculpture in Alabama, Florida, Virginia, North Carolina and Ohio. Area of specialization includes metal and wood fabrication and a variety of scales for both indoor/outdoor, permanent/temporary installations and exhibitions.
