A little behind the times, but here I am, bright eyed and bushy tailed on this Friday morning.

I’m not sure what’s happening with the grant money. I do know a little about the citywide greenway. I know that the city is now calling it the “city walk” because there were numerous residents who didn’t take to the idea of a “green” way in the city. Too liberal. Too touchy feely. Too environmental. I think they should have called it the “stroll of superfund sites” and maybe folks would have gotten behind it. I think when all is said and done, most of the world’s disagreements are about semantics. If “green” was synonymous with ensuring that your grandkids can make a living and enjoy life, I don’t think there’d be the same uproar.
